OTTOLET: fresh protection in 3 seconds
A simple guide to the hygienic toilet seat, SMARTROLL protective film, how ottorazor™ works, installation and everyday care.
The idea behind OTTOLET is simple: everyone gets a fresh protective layer on the toilet seat.Press a button or wave your hand, and the seat is ready in just 3 seconds. We also made the system easy for maintenance teams to look after.

How does the OTTOLET seat work?
Press the button or wave a hand in front of the sensor, depending on your model.OTTOLET changes the protective film on the seat automatically in 3 seconds. There is no film to pull by hand and no mechanism to touch.
Fresh film feeds in from the right-hand side, passes over the seating surface and moves to the left, where the used section is collected inside the unit. The next person gets a new section of film that has not been used before.
Button or touchless — both with wireless controls
Choose OTTOLET Button for push-button operation, or OTTOLET Touchless to start a cycle with a hand wave. Both versions have a wireless control unit, so no cable needs to run from the control to the seat.
There is a built-in 20-second pause between cycles. This stops repeated presses or hand waves from wasting film just because someone is playing with the controls.
SMARTROLL — 100 uses
SMARTROLL contains high-quality antibacterial protective film that does not let liquids through. It provides exactly 100 uses. After each cycle, the used section moves into the collection mechanism and fresh film covers the seat.
If the previous person left liquid or dirt on the film, that section is rolled away at the next activation. The film protects the seating area, but OTTOLET does not replace normal cleaning of the toilet and any uncovered surfaces.
— ceramic cutting designed for reliability
ottorazor™ is fitted inside the left side of the seat. Its ceramic cutting edge cuts the film in a specific area during every cycle, while the used section moves into the collection roll.Users cannot see or touch the cutting edge. The cut also prevents used film from being fed back over the seat.
From years of service work, we know metal blades can rust when exposed to moisture and cleaning products.A damaged blade may stop cutting properly and even jam the unit.OTTOLET's ceramic blade does not rust, helping reduce this kind of fault and the service visits it can cause.
Plug-in power or a rechargeable battery
The plug-in version of OTTOLET comes with a 9V power adapter. We recommend it for new installations where an electrical point can be prepared in advance, as there is no battery to remove for charging.
Where a power point is not available, choose the removable rechargeable 7,000mAh battery, supplied with its own charger. For especially busy locations, a battery with 50% more capacity is available.Remove the battery for charging without taking the seat off the toilet.
Neat installation, with a hidden cable on either side
OTTOLET has an internal cable channel. The power cable can exit on the left or the right, depending on where the electrical point sits. This avoids an exposed cable running along the seat and makes planning a tidy installation easier.
For new-build projects, we recommend an electrical point at seat height, about 20cm to the right or left of the toilet, with an upper service opening and a concealed cable route. All electrical work must be planned and installed by a qualified electrician to local safety standards.
An adjustable stainless steel 316 mounting bracket
OTTOLET's mounting bracket is made from high-quality grade 316 stainless steel. It has strong resistance to corrosion in damp environments. The distance between the fixing bolts can be adjusted to suit most common toilet bowls.
We do not install OTTOLET on square toilets.Their corners can be left uncovered, which would defeat the purpose of full seating-area protection.Check the toilet dimensions and fixing points before installation.
Change a roll in about 30 seconds
A viewing window on the right lets the maintenance team see how much SMARTROLL film is left. When it runs out, no protective film remains over the seat.Replacement normally takes about 30 seconds, and experienced staff may be even faster. There is also a separate illustrated four-step guide.
We recommend wiping the accessible inside surfaces with a damp cloth at every roll change. No lubrication or scheduled mechanical servicing is needed in normal use.The seat is water-resistant during normal use, but never wash it with running water or direct spray, and avoid harsh cleaners that can damage the plastic.
15 years of experience behind the details
OTTOLET grew out of 15 years of experience servicing hygienic toilet seats. We have seen what creates unnecessary work for maintenance teams and what people actually need from a seat they use every day.
That is why we focused on ottorazor™ and its ceramic cutting edge, a grade 316 stainless steel bracket, wireless controls, a hidden cable route and easy-to-replace SMARTROLL.Our goal is straightforward: a seat that is easy to understand, use and maintain.
Frequently asked questions
How does OTTOLET give each user a fresh seat?

Are the controls wireless, and can someone waste film by pressing repeatedly?
Yes.Both the button and touchless control units are wireless, with no cable to the seat.OTTOLET waits 20 seconds between activations to stop repeated presses or gestures wasting SMARTROLL film.
How many uses does SMARTROLL provide?
SMARTROLL provides exactly 100 uses. Its high-quality protective film is antibacterial and does not let liquids through. Each activation advances a fresh, unused section onto the seat.

Its adjustable grade 316 stainless steel mounting bracket fits most standard toilets. We do not install OTTOLET on square toilet bowls, because corners may remain uncovered.Check dimensions and mounting points before installation.
What is the best electrical setup for a new installation?
We recommend a power point at seat height, about 20cm to the right or left of the toilet, with an upper service opening and concealed cable route.OTTOLET's internal channel lets the cable exit on either side.Electrical work must meet local rules.
What cleaning or maintenance does OTTOLET need?
At each SMARTROLL change, wipe the accessible inside parts with a damp cloth. In normal use, no oiling or routine mechanical servicing is needed.Do not wash with running water, spray directly or use harsh chemicals that can damage the plastic.
